Now that my card is
activated: How do I deposit money into my DAd card?
The card funding process works slightly
differently than that of traditional banks. Direct Advantage will
control the DAd pool bank account, which will effectively fund your
DAd card (This process may take up to 48 hours). You will need to
put your DAd member number or your DAd card
number as a reference on you deposit slip.*Please
note that this is of high importance.
Direct Advantage will then load the funds onto your DAd
card for you. This process is very secure as our sponsoring bank is
heavily regulated as part of the Financial Services Authorities
Regulation Acts.

Questions and Answers:
Q – Why is the deposits paid into the
FNB account and not the sponsoring bank?
A – Because our sponsoring bank is a
commercial bank and they specialise in banking solutions for
businesses and corporate customers and their branches are not as
readily available as FNB branches it is more cost effective to
deposit money into the Trust Account.
Q – How does my money get onto my card?
A - Every time you deposit money into
your DAd Card, by depositing the money into the Trust Account with
your DAd number as reference, it gets transferred
to our sponsoring banks Trust Account and from there it is loaded
onto your DAd Card. |
